Hódmezővásárhely
Hódmezővásárhely is in the southern part of Hungary, 2 and a half hours away from Budapest. Its attractions include museums, parks, thermal pools, and the pretty small town itself. Should you be interested in horseback riding, we also offer the opportunity for you to devote time to your hobby here. The pool offered is a 25m by 50m pool, which is as the host of the short course Hungarian Nationals, each year.
Kecskemet
Kecskemet is approximately a 1 hour bus ride from Budapest airport in the central part of Hungary. The town is famous for its historic buildings and the thermal bath, that has been upgraded by a swimming pool complex lately, when Kecskemet became a regional swimming centre. Both an indoor and outdoor 50m pool is available along with the large slide park! The hotel, pool and town centre is in walking distance. The streets are safe for pedestrians to stroll around and enjoy the many shops, restaurants and cafes.
Eger
Eger is the second largest city in northern Hungary, east of the Matra Mountains and only a mere hour and a half drive away from Budapest. It is famous for its castle, thermal baths, historic buildings, and its specialty lies in red and white wines. The heart of the city is an exciting, entertaining place, filled with restaurants and shops, and plenty of streets safe for pedestrians to stroll on day and night to enjoy the city. Both an indoor and outdoor 50m pool is available for the teams, with a nice park beside the pool for dry land activities.
Sopron
Sopron is a city in Hungary laying on the Austrian border. The old town reflects its long history and makes it a very enjoyable pedestrian town. Vienna airport is only 52km from Sopron, making arrivals in Vienna an easy option. Budapest is not far either, about a 2 hour bus ride away. The pool complex is brand new, and the facility has an indoor 50m and an outdoor 33m pool.
Szombathely
Szombathely is a beautiful, historic town on the western border of Hungary. It is located about 2 hours away from exciting Budapest and only 100km away from Vienna. In case you land in Vienna, and not Budapest, we can arrange a bus transfer to Szombathely from there as well. There is an indoor and an outdoor 50m pool available for teams. And, as always, the training facility is only a walking distance from the hotel.
Százhalombatta
Százhalombatta is located in the central part of Hungary, only a 30 minute drive from Budapest. Because it is so near Budapest, we are able to organize city tours, cultural programs and bus transfer to Budapest. The city offers a nice sports center with ball halls, a gym, 3 football fields, and tennis courts. The training pools are two indoor 25m pools and an outdoor 50m pool, with a tent above it during winter to ensure your training comfort during all seasons of the year. As usual, the pool is walking distance from the hotel.
